Ormolu and Onyx andirons and fire guard. Each stunning andiron is raised by two front scrolled Ormolu legs with top tapering acanthus leaves and ending with hoof feet. At the center is a stunning reserve of foliage flanking a central crest like design. Above is an impressive Onyx circular tapered column with a bottom square plinth. The plinth is decorated by an Ormolu mount with a laurel wreath amidst wings and two quiver like designs. Above is a rounded Ormolu mount decorating the bottom of the column. The column leads up to a swaging floral garland with two tied bows. The top of the column is finished with a Corinthian capital and the eternal flame. The curved Ormolu back support leads to the elevated Wrought Iron log holders. The exceptional U shaped fire guard is raised by a mottled Ormolu base below an egg and dart designed band. Above are three Onyx front panels decorated with elegant Ormolu mounts and swaging laurel garlands, with additional singular panels to each side. Each of the panels are set within an Ormolu frame with a reeded background and foliate scrolls. The panels are flanked by Onyx pillars with mottled Ormolu socles and top capitals.
