The cross bar does fall if the dog hits it which is what it\u2019s supposed to do so they don\u2019t get hurt. They did not have any height markings so I measured up by two inches at a time and placed different colored masking tape at each height on both sides. I found some stick on numbers so the height is shown at each level to make it easier to adjust the height.
