Description 2025 1/4 oz Queens Panther Tudor Beasts Gold Coin The 2025 Queen’s Panther 1/4oz gold coin is the sixth bullion release in the Royal Tudor Beasts Collection from The Royal Mint. The collection features the 10 ‘Beasts’ statues that line the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court and which represent the families of the King’s line. Designed by David Lawrence, the reverse side of the coin features the Queen‘s Panther bestowed to Jane Seymour by King Henry VIII, and shows the beast holding a shield with their combined (impaled) Arms. This design is not only for visual appeal but also has enhanced security features as a protection against counterfeiting. The obverse side of the coin presents the official coinage portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings. This 2025 Queen’s Panther gold coin contains 0.25 troy ounces of pure 999.9 gold. As with other coins from The Royal Mint, it is considered legal tender with a value of £25, it is therefore exempt from Capital Gains Tax.
